When I open Word, it now make me start typing at the very top of the page even though I have set the top page margins like before. I am using the print layout view. If I type something at the very top (where it starts) and goes to print preview, everything looks normal and has the margin. However, it does not appear normal when I type in the print layout view. I can view the margins if I go to the header/footer and then just click outside the header. This is not a major problem but it makes it look very weird when typing. Thanks in advance.

Hi jlau703,

You have White Space Hidden. Either hover the mouse near the top of the page till the cursor changes to a little icon which looks like the gap between two pages with two arrow heads on it (and the tooltip "Show White Space") - and click - or go to Tools > Options > View and check the "White space between pages" option under "Print and Web Layout options"

Enjoy,
Tony
