ok, hope all is well. here is my weird strange problem. my users computer, windows 98 on a NT network. when i log onto the network, i'll get "no domain was found to validate your request..." so i hit ok, the error comes back. hit ok, error comes back, then hit ok the third time and it logs in. all my mapped network drives don't work and i need to add them again. i've changed the network card, re-installed tcp/ip, changed the password....any other ideas? thanks so much!

Win9X tcp/ip confused if you have enough win2K servers and WinXP computers with network broadcasting. Will not find PDC/BDC occasionally.

If you hit cancel and go on 98 desktop and type winipcfg you will know you got an ip that is not in your network.

Try turn off all network broadcast from winxp and win2k or upgrade 98 to NT/2K/XP.

What are your tcp settings, DHCP or fixed, WINS? etc...
