weird VPN issue 1

Hi ,

I have 5 VPN connections on my laptop that I use for customer support .
For some reason 5-10 times per day VPN connection windows popups and try to redial.
Internet Explorer has been set up : Never dial a connection .
Windows XP Pro , SP2, IE6
Any idea ?
