We have a Nortel Option 11c using MMail.

I went to LD 20 and printed all TNB.

Under the TYPE colum, there are some I'm not sure what they are.
Type: 500 (analog phone)
Type: 2008 (digital phone)
Type: DTR ???
Type: TIE ???
Type: DID why would this be listed here?
Type: COT ???

Type: COT ???

digitone reciever.. needed for touch tone and did's to work.

tie is a type of trunk, usually seen between two switches

did.. direct in dial..type of trunk, allows an external caller to dial xxx xxx 1234 and reach 1234 from the pstn

cot is the 1st form of trunks... central office trunk.. at one time they were the only game in town, a line simular to your home number was brought into the switch, usually inbound to the operator only

each type of trunk (a link between you and the world) is built according to it's usage and the switch type on the far end..
