Weird Squirrelmail Problem

I get an error in Squirrelmail web based mail when i try to send an attachment or change a preference setting. The error i get is this


Preference file, ../../squirrelmail-data/me@mymail.com.com.pref.tmp, could not be opened. Contact your system administrator to resolve this issue.


Does anyone know how to fix. Thanks

Problems with Squirrelmail would need to be resolved by whomever is running the mail server. My guess would be a permissions problem or missing file on the server.
