Edit : I just realized I had this in the wrong forum. :)

Hi, I am trying to configure NAT in my windows 2000 server. But, i am having one problem and can't seem to find out what is going on. Whenever I try to go to Action -> Enable and configure to get the wizard, the option is grayed out. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Carlos!

Try reinstalling rras via add remove programs.
Some services are dependant on other services, If you go to services you can check out dependancies for rras.

vb : thanks for the suggestions.
well, on your 1st suggestion, I thought about that. But, RRAS is not in the add/remove programs.
and 2 Under dependencies, it showed RPC which is started and NEtBIOS group, which I did not even see.
Any suggestions on the NETBIOS group ? Thanks carlos

Sorry about that....

Did you add a server first?

Is disable routing and remote access listed on the menu and not greyed out?

Vb : I found it after googling for about 1 day!!
This goes for whoever has this problem later on.
RRAS service depends on the REmote Registry Service in order to be configured.

Go ask MS why it is not listed when you right click on RRAS and go to the dependencies tab.

Thanks for all your help and I hope this helps people in the future!
