I am having a weird problem with exchange, whats happening is some how some one or something thing, meaning a worm, is spamming through my exchange server and i have authentication setup and i did a virus scan on all my machines and i haven't found anything, is there any way that i can find out what account is spamming or is any one else having a problem like this.

What makes you think this is occuring on your exchange server?

Because i took all my client machines off line and the exchange server was still was still spamming. So i don't know what it could be, if you know of anything else it could be please let me know.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi,

It is possible that your server is relaying messages, means somebody is rerouting the messages using your mail server.
Check whether your server is open for relaying or not, if yes then try closing the relaying.

Also you can checkout one thing in the IMC Que's, the name of the originator of the messages. If there are no names in the orginator's field then definatly somebody is relaying mails from your server.
