Weird partner issue

I have an ACS 1.0 with 2 206E modules and a VS R4.1. Occassionally during the day the phone will loose its display but the display will continue to stay lit. If the phone was in use, the call is put on hold. The customer thinks they've been disconnected. The problem occurs on both the processor and the 206 cards.

Does this sound like a bad processor?
 
sounds more like a wiring issue, the partner puts calls on hold when it loses connectivity with the system.
The lit display on the other hand is weird.
you might want to change the port and see if it follows the wire then you know.

Does this happen to all of the telephones and, if so, do they all go blank at the same time?

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.
 
i put in a UPS and that did not solve it. So I replaced the processor with a new processor, that seems to have solved the problem.
