Weird ODBC Issue - Not showing in Administrator

I have an odd issue with my ODBC Administrator. Most times when I create a new System DSN, usually for SQL Server 2k, it doesn't show up in the Administrator. Some other applications that I have that use a DSN, like Crystal Reports, do not show them in their listings either. However, when I look through the registry, the DSN is listed under there. If I use the DSN in a test program, like VB, it works fine. If I try to recreate the DSN in the ODBC Administrator, I get an error saying that it already exists. It's good that it works in some programs, but I can't select it to use in other programs. If anyone has ANY ideas what-so-ever, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Hi Doug,

Not sure if this would be helpful, but try this. From another machine/CD copy ODBCAD32.EXE and ODBC32.DLL into your machine. These files are present in the system32 directory.

Nope, that didn't do it.. But thanks anyway for the reply... Another thing that might possibly help... I sometimes have problems using the TRACE feature... I get an error when trying to start it. Is there someway to reinstall the administrator?
