weird msn virus

Hi,
My friend has a strange thing happening with his MSN. It randomly sends out the following message:

http://thatz.realdealzz.com

We've scanned with all the usual AVs, norton,avg,avast! and some dedicated msn virus cleaners, all come up as clean. I've checked the symantec website for new threats, but didnt come up with anything.
I've tried googleing the message, but i get no hits.
I'm all out of ideas! Anything else to try short of wiping his drive?

Can you give us some idea of what the message was without expecting anyone to click on a link!

Clicking unsolicited links is never a good idea, even in a forum such as this, and probably would not help us suggest a solution.
