We are testing MetaFrame XP on Windows 2000 SP2. We installed a 3rd party application (Maximo) that we already have working beautifully on MetaFrame 1.8 on Windows TS. At some point during this installation the application directory "maximo" gets created, obviously. The weird thing is that prior to this folder being created a folder nameed maximo_orgxp ic created. The folder contents are almost identical with the orgxp "version" of the folder having approx 30 MG less data. We noticed that during execution of the application some functions did not work or worked only intermittenly. We found this was caused by registry entries for the application pointed to the orgxp "version" of the folder (maximo_orgxp). Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone know how or why this "extra" folder is created? It's purpose?
Thanks.
Thanks.
