weird huge file appeared

Hi All -

I found a huge file that someone obviously created that I do not know how to get rid of. Any ideas?
Here is the output:

4706 16100 -rw-r----- 1 root system 16486400 Oct 22 13:41 /^?

remove or ls does not recognize the ^?

Do the Following
alias rm="rm -i"
touch gaga
rm gaga
Are you Prompted to give an Answer yes/no ? OK
Then rm ./*
Type yes on ^?
ctrl-c after you have deleted ^?

Nope the double quotes don't work. I had this same problem and the only way I could remove it was with the rm -i
