i uploaded a customer provided .wav file into the bcm50, then they wanted me to change it to a new one, I did, but the front of the new one is the end of the old one, AND every single greeting I try o add (say I chose to record greeting 16) and its just the receptionist doing it from the phone, it too will have the tail end of the old greeting I initially installed on greeting 1?

reinitializing he voicemail is option last, its an active call centre taking live calls 24/7

I can't seem to formulate the search in google well enough to gain any further clues. Anyone here have an idea of what I need to do...why did this do this, was the original too long (I can't even see anywhere where file size or length is mentioned)

thanks in advance

rr

Not sure I understand your details/problem.

AA Greetings
AA Table Menu Prompt
CCR path 0

Those are 3 places where a main greeting could be so check them all to see if one is the culprit.

thanks for your reply CC
its the contact centre greetings

I recorded greeting one by importing a wav file
they then wanted it changed to a new greeting

the new greeting one is heard but only after the last 5secs of the old greeting one is played (then the new greeting plays)

so then I tried to put the new greeting in as greeting 2, imported the wav file and....same thing, 5 secs of old number one greeting then the new greeting plays

so then I tried just me doing the audio from a phone (I picked greeting 16 just because) plays back on the phone perfectly, point to it from the contact centre....again, 5 secs of the old greeting and THEN my audio????

I can't get it to NOT play any greeting that is not preceded by 5secs of the old greeting 1

make sense?

If you play greeting one is it there? Record silence over greeting 1 to get rid of it.
