Weird error..

Hi all,

I have just taken over a site with Notes R5 and everything has been running smoothly. However just today i have been getting a funny message. When i go into the workspace area using notes client and go to the contacts database and try to send any email nothing happens, apart from the red cross in the top right of the screen flashing once.

But if i go into a new email and send a message it works fine.

This error message has started to appear are they related if so is there a solution. The error message is

database CN=Notes\0=worldwide!! name.nsf has not been opened get 30

any ideas would be great

Hello,

I would try closing notes, renaming the desktop5.dsk file to desktop5.old, start notes, make your desktop changes (bookmark icons, etc.) and then test.

You can always roll back the .dsk file. I would also look at the notes.ini for the CN= entry you listed in your message. Hope this helps.
