HELP ME!!

I've borrowed a hpdj930c from work for the weekend, set it up at home and to start with it was normal, pre installation that is...then after i've installed stuff it just flashes the ink light, and repeatedly makes a clunk noise every 20 seconds or so...don't think the cartridge is empty...feels fairly full...

Help...it's not my printer, and i totally can't afford a new one...

oko ok calm down!! we'll get you out of this!!!

I think it is a problem with the ink cartridge holder that slides up and down along the silver bar in there....

Open the printer cover and the ccartiges should slide out. Have a look at them......make sure that the cartridges are correctly in place and that there are no obstacles in place....

Next, gently slide the cartridges over to the right hand side and with a piece of tissue paper, gently clean the big white cable that is coming from the cartridges, do this with long strokes in one direction only. Next, with a clean piece of tissue, gently, and again in one direction, clean the thin black semi- transparent cable that is straight and behind the cartridges.

Now slide the cartridges back out and remove the actual cartiges them selves, with a cotton bud or tissue, remove and access ink that has gathered up at the ends, this can get messy!! I can quite remember the 930c, but if you can remove the ink heads and remove any access ink, then replace everything.

Now close the cover, and let the ink head carraige move up and down, hopefull with no weird noises!!

I hope that the printer hasnt been damaged during the moving from office to home......
