Weird Bracket Behaviour

Does anyone know why brackets move to the start of the line when typing.

Example: when I type "Pricing (Optional)" I end up with:

(Pricing (Optional

Whenever I type a bracket, it moves back to the start of the line. Is this a bug or can I change my settings so this doesn't happen?

Weird... Never happent to me any where.
This happens to you only in InDesign?
