Weird Address Book Issue in R6

I have a user having the following issue. Whenever he selects a particular letter in his address book to go to the contacts starting with that letter his ab will go to the end of the list and will not highlight his contacts, or it will go to the contact but the user has to scroll in order to see it. For example, if he clicks on the "P" button, his contacts will scroll to names starting with "W" or down to the bottom of his list. User has contacts showing Last Name first, if I switch it to First Name first it works fine. I tested with a new nsf file and the same thing happens, I recreated his Data directory and it worked fine for a very short while... this is driving me nuts....

Has anyone ever experienced this issue?
