Allright. I give up. It is up to you guys now.
I have a user that gets an Active X error when he tries to download anything off of the web.
.pdf, .swf, .exe anything. The error says "Some files can harm your computer. If the file information below looks suspicious, or you do not fully trust the source, do not open or save this file" Then it lists the file name, the file type (In this case, Acrobat control for Active X) and gives the choice to Open, Save, Cancel, More Info.
If you hit Open or Save, it STARTS the download, but before it can do anything, it give an error that says "Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannon be found. Please try again later"
The odd deal is I have his security turned down to low on everything. He can download .pdf's from the intranet and I can download things from our file server just fine.
Any help would be appreciated.
Windows 2K SP2, IE6 SP1 128-Bit.
Thanks in advance, Jamie
