Weird Active Directory replication/computer account problem

We are having an issue with computer accounts disappearing from active directory. We join the domain and everything works for about 1 hour, then we start getting errors about the pc accoutn being missing from the domain and/or the trust relationship between the primary has failed. This only seems to happen with computers that have previously existed in the domain.

windows 2000 domain
about 20 domain contollers, mix of 2000, and 2003 server.

Any help would be great
