Hello,

I am trying to get the height of person. The data is stored as a number in centimeters.

So, a person that is 5 ft 5 inches is stored as 165.1

I need to convert this to feet and inches.

I know that 165.1/2.54 = 65 inches.

which is 65/12 inches = 5.416666 feet. (or 5.42 ft)

Now, I need to get the inches out of the .42. and I just can't grasp it...maybe it's late and I've had to much turkey from the holidays..who knows. But can someone help?

Thanks,

Use the expression
Remainder({totalinches},12)

(Obviously, change totalinches to your own field or variable name).
