I am attempting to set up the webvpn on my 3005. I can get to the log in page, but when I try to put in the url into the window for the exchange server, I get "Unable to connect to server mail-server. Reason: bad length."

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Nevermind. It seems that all I needed to do was update the Cisco VPN OS from 4.1.1 to 4.1.7. All is good.

strayrog,

i'm trying to configure webvpn in my lab
..i am running 3005 software ver vpn3005-4.7.2.J-k9.bin

so when i go to configuration, tunneling and security, webvpn, and click on cisco SSL VPN Client...it states that there is no SSL VPN Client installed.

now i thought if you have software version vpn3005-4.7.2.J-k9.bin or higher you would not have to install SSL VPN Client (it is installed by default).

if this is the case it is misleading because it says that it is not installed. so i try to install a SSL VPN Client (sslclient-win-1.1.2.pkg or below version) the concentrator will act like it is uploading then timeout after 90% or so.

...could you shed some light on this for me?

..thanx daniel
