Hi all, anyone here use Webtrends 7? I have to start doing the reporting for my job, and I was looking for tutorials online that provide some information.

I went to webtrends actual website, and they have no (useful) tutorials.

No, in my experience they are terrible.

Webtrends, while being a good bit of software is the most confusing mess I've ever used to do anything.

The version numbers, upgrades and different licenses are so confusing it makes me cringe whenever I think about it.

I've never looked for online tutorials, but a quick skim of the manual was enough to get me up and running with it.

What specifically is it you are wanting to do? I might be able to help a little.

I want to know how to set up a report. To see how many unique visitors come to the site, repeat visitors, how long they stay (at each page, if possible), create charts/graphs, compare with the visits today vs. the same day 6 mos ago (a year ago)

We're thinking of using urchin. Basically I was using web trends but it cannot answer pertinent questions like

If someone clicks off the page - where did they go to? Where did they come from?

The path routes through the site don't give much information

We've tonnes more downloads than page visits - something is going wrong somewhere...

Web trends is okay for simple stats. If you've got problems/issues with your site.. In my experience you're better off with Urchin.
