We recently removed a domain from our network and now our websweeper refuses to start as it says it cannot retrieve userlists from the deleted domain. We cannot find any reference to the deleted domain in any config can anyone help ?
Thanks for the reply, we dont use LDAP (yet) just the standard NT stuff. I solved the problem by removing all the old configuration then rebooting and then putting it all back in. I dont have a clue which item was calling for the deleted domain but it did the trick and its all running again now - thanks.
2 things to try would have been:
- Application log errors usually point to exactly whatis not loading up
- runnning the service in debug mode ( -debug)
