Websphere hangs

Hello,

We are running a website on Websphere application server 3.0 and DB2 6. We are experiencing the problem of WAS server hanging at frequent times. At the time of problem we observer 5 to 6 java.exe getting generated and two java.exe taking more than 50 MB memory.
Pls help me out.
