I'm the marketing and graphics/web guy for a technology company and one thing I've really wanted to implement on our corporate websites is the ability to store and view visitor statistics.
These stats would include referring pages, numbers of clicks for each page, search terms used to find us, screen resolution, etc.
The problem is that our developers are constantly working on our software so it's hard to pull them away to work on something that would be helpful for marketing --basically I need to do all the preliminary work I can do to.
Our web server is an Apache server. In addition to our own websites, we host several sites for our clients. Some of our clients have also requested a statistics feature.
I need some sort of stats software that will work for multiple domains, allow logins by various users (me and our cilents) to view information specific to their domain, and ideally it would automatically be applied to new domains that are created.
I did some searching around and found very little --some of these companies are subscription services and some are one-time purchases and I really have no idea what to look for. If any of you have any experience with this or know of a reasonably-priced solution, please let me know.
Sorry about making this so long. Thanks in advance for any help!
Jake
