We currently are running our own webservers in house, and have multiple domains registered. GoDaddy currently is our registar. I just recently took over this possition and am trying to figure this all out. First all of our domains listed on GoDaddy all have a custom name server put in, of NS1.PBI.NET and NS2.PBI.NET respectivly. Now we just recently aquired a new domain/website that is pointing to NS1.shasta.com ect. I was assigned the task of creating a foward from the newly aquired domain/website to one of our previous site.(I will use isapi rewrite for iis). First off I tried to use GoDaddy, and put in a foward. I waited a couple days after the foward was processed, and still it does not foward. The only thing I can think of, is that I need to point the new domain to the same name server as all the other domains that are listed. Then get ahold of the name servers and make the change there. Is this a correct assumtion?

move the newly acquired sites registration and hosting to Gogaddy. Then it will use the same DNS servers and your forwards will have no issues. This will also help keep your websites managed in one location.

The Website to Website forward option in Godaddy has always worked for me.
