Hi:
Can anyone point me in the diretion to get some more information on my problem? I am strictly a PC user and have very little experience with MAC.

I created a web page (using straight HTML created in a text editor) and referenced a bunch of images. There are quite a few of them so they are all held in the folder "images"

I am using personal web space from Sympatico.

All files show splendidly on PCs but specifically two refuse to show up in ANY mac platform based broswer including IE, Camino, Safari.
The gile extensions are either .gif or .jpe.

Thanks much!
Kim

Any chance of a link to the said site so I can see what happens. That will go a long way towards figuring out the problem. If it's something you want to keep under wraps, you can email me the site.

Hi Kyle:
Thanks for the response. With some exhaustive investigating...I figured it out...damn MAC!

As a PC user the placement of slashes (/) really doesn't matter too much when displaying images as long as there are no spaces in the file name or btween the folder name and file name...not so with MACs.

So...my html code pointed to my images this way:
images\name.gif

where MAC does not understand that and must be written:
images/name.gif

Something as simple asd that cost me a whole day.

Again thanks for your response!
