Hi Everyone,
I found out today that I'll be able to borrow a Cisco 2514 router from someone, who has a spare for the summer so I can try some advanced features which is not included in the CCNA curriculum. I've noticed that people have been asking this question numberous times (and I tried looking for an aticle on this, and on the cisco site) so I was wondering if anyone knows what the address is for the cisco page that talks about configuring a router for a cable modem?
Thanks,
Graham

Mike,

I have a question aout your sample config for cable modem. I noticed that you specify DNS with the "ip name-server" command, but then in you DHCP-POOL definition you define the DNS again. What is the difference between the ip name-server command and defining it with dns-server? And if you left off the dns-server command, would it still use the DNS defined with the "ip name-server" command? Thanks for the help.
