Does anyone have any suggestions on the best approach for allowing potential employees the ability to apply for a position from our website? I am leaning towards Adobe Pro fillable forms, but wanted to see if anyone had a better suggestion.

Thanks!

Adobe forms can be ok but often rely on the applicant having an email client installed with POP access to send the form back to you.

Personal thoughts on this are to look into some server-side language and build some internet based forms that the applicant can fill in on the site and then press the post button to send it to you.

Along with this I would have some form of File Upload system so the applicants can attach a CV.

When making applications for jobs in the past it really bugs me when i'm not allowed to submit my personal CV which i have spent many hours constructing and refining.

Give them forms for basic details, but so long as they can submit they're CV then everyone should be happy.

p.s. If your not familiar with server side languages i can reccomend learning 'ColdFusion'. You'll probably be able to learn all the skills you need to knock together a simple task like this with in a day or two.
