I have been asked to document our website and I would like to know if there are any good tools or code to accomplish this. Specifically I need to be able to generate a report or spreadsheet that will list all pages and gif/jpeg files associated with those pages. Links would be nice also. I tried FrontPage but I'm not having much luck with it.

Thanks..Russ

hi rry2k,
here's an excellent tool for you:
Xenu's Link Sleuth

This is it's brief description I found on one site:
"Xenu's Link Sleuth (TM) is a spidering software that checks Web sites for broken links. Link verification is done on "normal" links, images, frames, plug-ins, backgrounds, local image maps, style sheets, scripts and java applets. It displays a continously updated list of URLs which you can sort by different criteria. A report can be produced at any time."

It's free, small and very powerful. It also generate reports as you need.
Search for "Xenu's Link Sleuth" in Google and you'll get dozens of links to it. Here's one of them (the most short one :))
good luck
