Hi All

Is there any way to check if a website / link exists and return the results to an error message or call a function?

I know you can do it with ASP, but java???

Thanks for the advice, but I'm only just grasping the fundamentals of javascript. Sorry to be a pain, but I need a little more clarity. Such as an example.

I should have made it clear in my original post that I'm quite new to java, but Thankyou again for posting.

For me to create sample code would mean I would have to actually study that tutorial I pointed you to.... which would not help you learn or me pass my certification.

However, one bit of advice: if you are new to Java (haven't coded any sizeable program), this is probably not the best starting point. Anyways, good luck.

that's a little out of my depth, I'm new to java, but thanks for the advice.
