I have a web server running apache and linux.

I can access it via the web using the nameserver registered at nic (eg typing ns.domain.foo into a browser), but cannot access it using

http://www (eg

http://www.domain.foo),

the browser returns "Cannot find server or DNS Error". Does anybody have any ideas?

Is this a brand new domain? It could be your registrar didn't finish processing the dns info yet or it is being parked for some reason or other. To see what the deal is, type "dig

http://www.yourdomain.com"

and it will give you all that info.
