Has anyone successfully setup click to dial functionality with Salesforce and WebRTC? The CTI adapter from OneX portal is retired and I'm being told I need to move to WebRTC. Is there an out of the box click to dial solution from Avaya to be used with WebRTC?

Yes you have to setup Avaya Communicator for Web (WebRTC plugin) and configure your Salesforce.
There is an admin guide for Avaya Communicator for Web which explain how to do this.
The common issue when setting this up is certificate issue.
You'll have to install the CA of your IP Office in browsers/computers

Or use a "real" certificate for your domain.

Found the setup doc last night. Thanks for the replies! I was worried I was going to have to actually code a click to dial feature. lol I'll post back results in case anyone finds this thread asking the same thing.

I have been using Web communicator (chrome addon) for the past couple of months with and without certificates in place.

The click to dial aspect is excellent. When there is a phone number on a Web page you get a little telephone icon next to the number. When you click on it the communicator either makes the call as a soft phone or as a controller sends the call to your desk phone.

I am in process of setting up Salesforce with Avaya Communicator for Web 9.1.8. The set up is a bit different. Customer is using IP500 and has an application server running one X. I have run into some similar issue/questions with the CERTS. Do you need 3rd part Cert. If not I saw in above thread you can use the CA cert from Application Server/IPO.
The other issue I am running into is I got it to work on One computer but can get other users connected if I have the presence server IP address programed into Communicator. Other users have same OS system and are using Chrome .If I take it out the communicator connects just no "presence" but can dial and receive calls.
If anyone has seen this and knows a fix I would appreciated the help

Tried to uninstall reinstall Plugins and same thing.. Got me beating my head against the wall

Does your customer happen to have a wildcard cert you could try to use?
