I'm working on getting WebRTC configured on an IP Office R10 IP Office following this from the knowledge base.
When I go to Applications all I see is file manager. I'm logging into web manager with the default Administrator account. Is there an install or config I'm missing? Is the WebRTC config accessible through the manager suite?

Its in the documentation that you posted, quote "To access the WebRTC Gateway configuration settings in IP Office Web Manager, you must log account must belong to a security rights group that has WebRTC Gateway Administrator rights enabled. That is configured through the servers security setting using IP Office Manager."

ps. If your only seeing File Manager I suspect your admin account hasn't been enabled for one-X Portal and Voicemail Pro either.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I assumed the default Administrator account would have those permissions. I'll go back and look for the permissions again.

Depends how you got to R10. They will be defaulted on on a new system, but on systems that are upgraded the new security options tend to be off to start with.

This is a new turn up, I've tried adjusting the permissions for the Administrator account but nothing is specific to which group is needed to have those permissions. It's odd that I don't see any of the applications; Voicemail Pro, OneX, WebRTC Config...

As long as you don't have a lot of security customisation, if you know all the passwords, just default the security, that should also default all the rights groups and to which groups each service user belongs. Login again and set the passwords back to what they were.

Do all that with Manager, web manager is rubbish for managing the security settings.

So you're accessing an IP500 Web Manager?

WebRTC is installed on Appserver or Server Edition.

Yup, I'm an idiot... Thanks janni78! I still don't see the WebRTC Configuration option under Applications but I do see everything else.

Don't worry, I hadn't remembered that twist either so you're not alone.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I was using Chrome, Platform View was blank. Opened in IE, got a certificate error. Exported the pem and imported into my Trusted Root, still the same issue (I think I need to convert the pem to crt). Opened in Firefox and was able to bypass the certificate error, get into Platform View, enable WebRTC, and can now see it under Applications.

And it's only Tuesday

Thanks for the help!!
