Webpshere Development Studio Client Won't Work On Windows 7? 1

We ahave used Websphere Development Studio Client For iseries V7 on XP laptops for a year or so to write RPG programs.

One of our developers has now upgraded to a Windows 7 laptop.
He has installed the software we use on XP but it just will not allow him to create a connection to our Iseries even thoughw e follow exactly the same steps as the create connection on the XP machines.

Anybody know why this is and how to correct it?
Anybody know if there is a more up to date windows editor we should be using?

Here's an IBM link that may help; or not. We are still on XP at work. But, apparently Win 7 and WDSC don't get along. Good luck.
