Hello,
Anyone using WebMailRedirect? Ever since we moved to R6, the images won't display properly on our default login page (background file blank or red x on embedded images). I have already tried the following recommended fixes:
1. Allow Anonymous Access
2. Place the image into the Shared Resources\Images View (added to form as protected resource)
3. Tried to use HTML and reference the image via the icons folder.
4. Added the "Allow Anonymous Access" to the form and DB.

More info: We use a Netscreen Policy that uses and RSA XAuth solution. So, the first layer of security is an RSA login, then it passes the request to the Form for Notes credentials. This is where the problem is. If I remove XAuth and allow for direct access or the internet, the images are fine.

I know I'm reaching here, but I figured it was worth a try. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Rgds,

John

The settings that I can see from ours:
In the ACL for the redirect .nsf file. Here we have:-

Default - UserType:Unspecified - Access:No Access -greyed tick in 'replicate/copy docs'
Anonymous - UserType:Unspecified - Access:No Access -tick only in 'read public docs'
Group Everyone (Everyone that will use iNotes)- UserType:Unspecified - Access:Reader -ticks in 'read public docs' and 'replicate/copy docs'

The background image was pasted into the loginform.
I cannot think of any other change that was made.

Hey Mark,

Thanks for the response. Nothing rings a bell, and I think we have the same settings. But I will check the config later today.

Thanks.

Rgds,

John

Just a thought.. Are you using webmailredirect.nsf (from sandbox) or a file created from the new iwaredir.ntf from Domino6. Possibly there are differences?

WebMailDirect. Is there a new one for R6? I dimply grabbed the latest.

Thanks.

John

John,

There is a new template with 6.03 - \lotus\domino\data\iwaredir.ntf
In admin create a new database named whatever you want choosing that server based template and then set the file up as required. Im not saying this is the answer, just a suggestion.

Another thought with regard the graphics. Have you looked at whether connections are by name or IP. Possibly DNS has a relevance to your Xauth issue?.

Mark.
