After playing (A lot) trying to setup webmail on our windows 2k server, I have managed to get it to allow someone to login to their mail. But they do not see any documents in any folders except "Discussion". The inbox, sent, all documents etc are blank (in firefox - in IE they come up "Page cannot be displayed"). Not really played around in IE as I prefer Firefox, but if IE is the only way to do it, then I suppose needs must when the devil drives.

In fact while writing this I am trying again in IE.
I enter the url address/mail/myname.nsf.
I get asked for a windows username and password (which I have setup as the same as the short name in notes and set the internet password as the same).
Click "OK" and get the folders down the left hand side and "this page cannot be displayed" on the left hand side of the icon list.
Clicking on the following has no effect: Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Address book, Trash.
Clicking on the following brings up the document list: Discussion, Rules, any personal folders created.
Clicking on the calendar icon brings up the calendar view but no data. The to-do list works, except the "by due date" view.
Back to the mail folder and the discussion listing. The “new memo” button is pushed and I can create a memo. However the addresses pop up has “page cannot be displayed” problem. I click on send and the message goes and I get the “page cannot be displayed” again.

I seems strange that I get some views and not others. Any advise?

Just noticed I get asked to sign on again when it wants to load the java for the buttons at the top of the page. Ths sign on pop up is not the normal Windows sign on box - it looks different. It shows the server ip, the realm, and a scheme of Basic

Hi
When you created the user, what template did you use?
If user was created with a standard mail client they wont have full functionality.
You need to change the template on the users mail file from a client - Goto workspace, r/click "username" on "server"
select database - replace design select domino webaccess

hope this helps

Turns out it was a problem with the server - just had to perform a re-install and included everything to install - upgraded peeps to inotes template and everything works.
