WebLogic Access.log grows and grows

Dear All,
our weblogic server is configured to rotate logs at a síze of 5000KB (=default) in Prod mode.
This is alright for the Server.Log which rotates at exactly that size but the HTTP Access.Log just ignores this setting and keeps growing far beyond that size.
We already tried the following approach: change of rotation size to another value (4900 KB) and restart of the Bea SVC - but this didn´t help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dear Dian,

thanks very much for the link - however, I already implemented the settings recommend in this Guide and the size is set to 5000KB but the access.log still grows larger and larger.
Do you know if there exists a patch for this problem which seems to be a bug to me ?
