webi report layout issue

I'm using webi 2.6.1 to create a report. It's a tabular report. But above the tabular data i would like to show the user input (values entered in prompts) as labels and values. Is it possible to do this without using webi sdk? where can i find some sample code?

That's one of the drawback in thin clent. You have use WeBI SDK or Full Client.

Actually the site is busobj.forumtopics.com.

You can only disply the user prompts at the very top frame of the report. This is an option in the page layout area. Click in white space outside your report and you'll see a check box that let's you display the prompts on the report.

thanks for your help. i have one more question ...

why bother to build a webi document and then use webi sdk to customize it? why not just create the report as an asp page and publish the asp page in Infoview? what are the advantages of the former?
