Is it safe to use Webdings as a font on web pages? Or should I create small graphic file for each character I want to use from Webdings?

I would personaly use them as graphics it would be safer that way

Hi Achau,

Its depends at what your are using it for? When you only use it a couple of characters then use graphics.

I use IE4.0 / NN4.73 and NN4.73 doesn't support Webdings !!

So if you don't know which browser your users have than it's another reason to use graphics.

See also thread215-107897 for more info about webdings.

Thanks for the quick replies, Manic and Erik! I'll create the graphic files (Was hoping that Webdings was common enough across the browsers and I don't have to go through the painful process of creating many files).
