I have been asked to do a webdesign project. I'm fine with the code but there are some graphics changes I have to do and I'm not good at that. Specifically I need to change the text in a navigation bar. Can someone tell me a good tool to use. Money is tight on this so buying software would be tough.

The Gimp is a free graphics package, availabe for multiple operating systems.

Or, you could use time-trial versions of software such as Paint Shop Pro.

Center the div or table, but don't center the text in the div, table, or page. Headings and titles are okay, but not the stuff I have to read several lines of for information.

I've noticed that the older I get, the more that format messes with my eyes.

StudentofLife, I do believe there are specialized forums for all the graphics programs mentioned here on Tek-Tips. You will find best help there. I would opt for Gimp in your place -- no trial period, completely free, very powerful.
