Hi,
I have a web-interface for some tables (ORACLE 8i, NT).
I want to download the data of a report in MS Excel. One column has very large
entries (strings > 200 signs), and Excel can't handle these large strings. The download is possible, but when I try to open the file, Excel tells me that it has detected
some errors in the large strings. I ignore this statement, type ok, and Excel opens the file. However, the large strings are truncated...
When I choose another output format (ASCII or HTML), everything works fine.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
Many thanks!
Darth
