Hi guys,

Struggling with getting WebDAV working over SSL in Content Server 10.

WebDAV is set in the web edit administation settings as a higher priority than activeX but we always get a certificate error when trying to edit / open documents. The certificate is installed and issued internally without errors in any other areas of CS10. We connect using and all is well, its just when we use WebDAV to open/edit.

Ive added various in CGI parameters but that doesnt seem to be the problem.

Thanks

Sorry I cant attach a pic.

The message is:

Windows Security

Connecting to OTCS.ABCDE.FGHIJK
Select a certificate

No certificate available
No certificates meet the application...
Click OK to continue

we have ssl applied on our default website which content server is contained (iis 7.5). the certificate we own is a wildcard cert, *.companyname.com

when i access everything works as expected, including webdav. if i'm on-site and access (not FQDN) then i have a number of ssl problems, including webdav issues

make sure you are targeting FQDN or whatever your certificate is configured for. make sure webdav is installed within the parameters of your certificate. (think iis websites, virtual directories)

i've never seen the error you described

otengineer, many thanks for this info - its something we will give a go when the engineer visits again.
