When accessing webaccess using IE & clicking on view for a MS powerpoint attachment, we get a window with blank (black) slides. If I press save as we get the presentation in a viewer? With other documents, such as word, the save as will save the document & the view will bring it up in a viewer. Any Ideas on the PPT type attachment? Thanks in advance!

Does this happen on all systems or just one?

*end users are just like computers, some you can work with...others just need a simple reBOOTing to fix their problems.*

It differs by machine! Is there some browsers settings that may affect how an attachment is opened?

I don't think it would be a browser setting. I would check the versions of IE on each system. Make sure they are all patched with the newest MS Virtual Machine. Also clear the cache on each of the systems experiencing the problem, I've seen it where a corrupt cache can cause some strange things. If it happens on different systems and not all, then it's definitely a machine issue. I know that Novell had a patch out for it’s conversion NLM’s but if you’re not experiencing it on all systems I would not install it. I installed it and I had to go in and manually edit some start-up files. david e
