Scenario:

I have a Windows NT4 website running IIS

I have a netware 4.11 using NDS and running Gwise

I am trying to get the 'WEBACCESS' bit running, however,
when I put the CD in the NT4 server and install the software, it keeps asking me to point to java.exe which does not exist on the server.....Am I missing the point.

After the installation on the NT server, how would I set up it's configuration so that it knows the name/IP of the groupwise server???

Any help on this would be gratefully received...

Many Thanks

Ian

Thanks david, that got me half way there, but I am still unsure hot the NT IIS server knows the name/IP of the groupwise server???

ie. configuration file or something similar on the NT server.

Many Thanks

Ian

On your web server there is a configuration file called...

COMMGR.CFG

This should be in the path of (if you ran the default settings during setup)....

\\servername\groupwise\cgi-gin\gw5

I believe this passes the correct information off to the IIS Server as far as where the GroupWise server is located and what agent to talk to. This file is setup in the GropWise Gateway/Internet Agent for WebAccess. On the Server Configuration Tab, you set the Server IP Address, the Port, Encryption Key, Max Threads and the location of the COMMGR.CFG file.

Everything should be configured through the GroupWise Snapin for the NWAdmin program.

Hope this helps..

*end users are just like computers, some you can work with...others just need a simple reBOOTing to fix their problems.*
