WebAccess 6.5 question

I recently got my GW6.5 test server running, and installed WebAccess onto the same box that hosts the POA, MTA and GWIA. During the install, I was asked whether I wanted the GroupWise WebAccess page to replace my default web page (Apache\htdocs\index.html). I replied "no" to this, but am now unable to find where I'm supposed to hit the WebAccess page.

Anyone have any ideas?

When you go to the server IP address, what comes up?

Since you did not replace the index.htm file, you need to look in the root of the web server and find the correct htm file. I am not 100% sure, but I think the name of the file will be gwweb.htm. Rename it to index.htm and you will be ready to go.

OR

You can cut/past the following html code and save it to index.htm. This code will auto forward your users to the login page and bypass the language selection page the comes up first by default.

The server address can be either the host name or an IP address, when this goes production, you will want to use host name for resolution. Using IP address will make it NOT work internally if you use NAT. You can have Internet users resolve to Internet DNS, and internal users resolve to internal DNS. Each DNS would have the proper IP address for the host name.

Here's the latest:

Last night I rebuilt the test bed, and this time selected to have the GroupWise Web Access page be the default page. Now, when logging in (either internally via IP or externally via DNS name, as I am using NAT) I can hit the language selection screen just fine. However, when you select "Go" to log in, the subsequent page cannot be found (i.e.

http://server_ip/servlet/webacc).

Is this a Tomcat issue? It sort of appears to be a problem with the servlet engine, but that's my newbie diagnosis.

Any further thoughts would be appreciated.
