Does anyone here have experience in using Crystal through a web browser. I have some reports and would like to let other people run and select parameters using a web browser

any advice

EscapeUK: You can either use ASP passing the parameters chosen through code or either the Active X OCX or Report Design Component to achieve this. If you need extra info just ask David C. Monks

I would like it so that I do not have to install crystal on the clients PC

EscapeUK: The most effective way in my view of delivering Web Reporting at present (watch this space!) is the use of ASP. This enables you to create code on your web server to deliver a view of a Crystal Report BUT will still require the use of either an Active X Viewer, Java Viewer or HTML Viewer controlled through the client PC e.g. the Java Viewer will download classes to the client in order to execute the applet....

I've recently had a look at the Recrystallize Pro product which you may have seen mentioned here in the forum and I'm now a fan. Although it costs it does make creating your ASP code a doddle! Have a try for yourself at
