Hi All,

I want to create a 3D virtual walk through of our college. I want to have visio objects of (pc's printers network devices etc) & their details (make, model, IP, mac address etc) viewable whilst browsing the virtual tour from a web browser.

Has anyone done anything like this?
I assume that the 3D virtual tour may need to be constructed using a program other than visio, if so any ideas which to use?
Is it even possible? All help/advice on the process/programs used is gratefully received.

TIA
Danny

yr2003,

For your Virtual Tour, these use photos and are used by relestate firms for one. There are also Video versions but I do not have any experience with them. There are several others available but these are ones that I have used in one form or another.

Commercial:
360 degrees of freedom

Less feature packed but Lower cost

PanoWeaver4

PhotoVista - Commercial

PhotoVista - ShareWare

As to your use of Visio for PC's printers & the like, if you can develop a Visio layout to your liking you can save as a GIF or JPEG and include with the above types of software.

Good Luck with this Project

Hope You Find This Helpful
