I need help getting this to work when. I try to log into web view I get HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden

login via IE7 using the address of the server per the instructions on line.

The vender can not get it working! The load is NP 11.0.4.4
on the IBM server

The NuPoint at that release is actually software on a 6000 Managed Applications Server. I'm pretty sure that what ever the IP address of your Voicemail is, it is in a different subnet than the computer you are using to access the web page.

Put your PC on the same subnet as the NuPoint and try accessing the 6000 Managed Application Server webpage:

ADRESS of NuPOINT>/server-mangaer

You will be prompted for a username and password. Use the admin account that was created when the 6000 MAS was first configured.

Once you are in the server-manager webpage, there is a listing on the left hand side called "Local Networks". This is a list of TRUSTED SUBNETS and I'm fairly confident your PC's subnet is not listed there! You need to include the subnet of any network device or PC you want to use to communicate with the NuPoint server. This includes the subnet of the Mitel phone system if it is on a different subnet!!!!

After you have that completed, the PC you are using to access the NuPoint webpage should be allowed access.

Good Luck!

Paterson, thanks for the info that appears to be what is missing, however I can not get the system to accept the input of new subnets. There must be something wrong with the initial setup or there is a software bug.

Network Subnet mask Number of hosts Router Action
10.10.3.0 255.255.255.0 256

Here is the msg I get when the new network is added

Operation status report
Error: router address is not accessible from local network. Did not add network

If today were a fish I'd put it back.

I have had that problem before.

When I was adding the Network, subnet mask, and router, I was using the incorrect IP address of the router.

You need to enter the IP address of the router that is connected to the network your NuPoint server is on. If you add lots of networks to this list, they will all have the same router information!! That is what tripped me up. I was entering in the router IP address from the network I wanted to add. I guess the assumption is that the router connected to the NuPoint should know how to route traffic to the other networks.

Also, The first entry on this list is the network that the NuPoint is on. This is an automatic entry and you cannot remove it or change it from this web page.
