Web using iis 5.1 on XP Pro

I have added IIS 5.1 to my XP Pro. Internet XP Services says, "Your Web service is now running......To add documents to your default Web site, save files in c:\inetpub\
1. Do I have to PUBLISH to there, or can I copy and paste a web? Or can I SAVE a web to there? I copied and pasted, but the components that need FP Extensions do not work.

2. I am told something about "configuring" the extensions. When I go to Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools>Server Extension Administrative Shortcut, I see FP Extensions, but I don't see any way to make any changes. ????
